CeReNeM has seen another busy period of activity with postgraduates in particular, mounting a great diversity of concerts, installation events and workshops including a project at Huddersfield Open Market, part of the ‘sound-installation’ research group led by Prof. Peter Ablinger.

New publications from CeReNeM
We are pleased to announce the publication of new editions of the peer-reviewed Divergence Press e-Journal and our HCR CD label. Divergence Press Issue 2 focusses on theoretical and practice-based research around the theme of ‘Sound.Music.Moving Image’ and is edited by SMI/rc Director, Dr Julio d’Escriván.

Zeta Potential is the seventh publication of Huddersfield Contemporary Records and features the work of 21 young composers who took part in hcmf//’s European Composers’ Professional Development Programme. The collection was recorded at the festival by Nieuw Ensemble (NL), Ensemble 10/10 (UK) or Icarus Ensemble (IT) and includes works by CeReNeM composers, Matthew Sergeant and Chikako Morishita.
